Hey there! I'm Ashley, a full-stack software engineer based in Minneapolis, MN.
I'm logically minded and creative at heart. I love to solve problems by designing and coding beautifully simple things. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and am passionately in the pursuit of knowledge and optimization.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I worked as a mechanical engineer in nuclear pharmaceuticals. I enjoyed troubleshooting our project's software so much that I attended Prime Academy to transition to software development. I'm thrilled to have a career in mobile development, working on the mobile applications for Buncha and Shipt.
Over the last 2 years, I've stepped into management leading a team of 6 developers (app and web) to cover projects within Search, Markups & Fees, and Fulfillment.
For the full story, check out my resume. For a sneak peek, here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:
Engineering Manager (3/2023 - Present)
Senior (12/2021 - 3/2023), Engineer (1/2021 - 12/2021)

A connection-based app, users enter in times where they are available and their friends may request to “chill” during those times. Complete with a wintry, penguin theme, ChillCal is a clean, easy-to-follow web-based mobile application. Note: the chillcal-api project contains the server code.
This application for Marnita's Table displays the reports (360s) generated from Intentional Social Interactions (IZI). It allows visitors and clients to search through and view the 360s. The application also features a managing suite that allows Employees and Admins to create, edit, and publish 360s and control user viewing permissions.
I'm actively searching for my next position and would love to discuss opportunities.
